Invasive Asian carp found in Mississippi north of Iowa border

Several Asian carp, including at least one of the infamous leaping silver carp species, were caught last week in the Mississippi River north of the Iowa border, Minnesota and Wisconsin officials confirmed Tuesday.

It's the northernmost point in the river that a silver carp has been caught and the first time in Minnesota-Wisconsin border waters that more than one of the invasive Asian carp have been caught at one time, they added. (Full Story)
